Local attractions / things to do
- Farmer’s Market:
- Cool off with a swim at one of the many nearby lakes:
- Wasa Lake Provincial Park, one of the warmest in the region, just 20-30 minutes east of Kimberley, or north of Cranbrook
- Lazy Lake Recreation Site: nestled beneath the Western Rockies, just east of Wasa Lake
- Ha Has Lake Recreation Site: just 18 kms east of Kimberley, turn left from Highway 95A at Lost Dog Road
- Kimberley Swimming Hole: Mark Creek, just south of Mark St, (by the BC Liquor Store), downtown Kimberley
- Indoor Pools: Both Kimberley and Cranbrook have aquatic centres where you may also enjoy also a sauna or hot tub.
- Cycling: Take the Kimberley to Cranbrook paved Rails to Trails, 33 kms long for beautiful views of the St. Mary’s River valley
- Hiking / Mountain Biking:
- Many kilometres of trails are easily accessible from:
- The Kimberley Nature Park,
- Cranbrook Community Forest,
- Kimberley’s Lois Creek Trails
- Bootleg area along Saint Mary’s Lake Road.
- For a longer hike/run/mountain bike take the famous Round the Mountain route (20kms) starting at Kimberley Nordic area.

- Many kilometres of trails are easily accessible from:
- Golf: There are seven golf courses in the area, three in Kimberley, four closer to Cranbrook.
- Climbing Gym:
- Spirit Rock, located in the Kimberley Platzl
- Climb Arq, located in Cranbrook.
